Welcome to the World Bang. The rush was immense, like
Standing on the edge, no parachute,
No safety line, no-one to go back to,

Welcome to the
Border 1 Year Contest High above Midgar's capital, for the first time in hundreds of years, the fortress city's massive battery of defences fired. But this time they fired not on an enemy, but one of their own. Floating adrift through the skies, a gargantuan military airship sat. Rocked by explosions and pocketed by shells, it was not in the best of conditions to say the least.

Atop the ship, on it's massive flight deck stood it's bridge. A waterfall of glass and steel, jet black in the dead of night. Without warning, a panel roughly fifty feet above the deck exploded, a small blob moving in a cloud of shattered glass and smoke fell back down. The blob was a man,
Real I dreamt I wasn't dreaming,
Only to wake up,
And see I only dreamed it was a dream.
Monster I look into the mirror,
Expecting to see a visage,
Approaching that of the
Picture hanging in Dorian
Grey's hallway.

But I see me as you must,
Fair complexion, brown eyes,
Half smile sitting on my lips,
And those deep brown eyes,
Mirroring my reflection.

Like the hallway of mirrors,
It becomes in infinite loop,
All my flaws refracted into
The monster if I feel
I have become.

Been messing around with Sculptris (the free version of Z-Brush) and this is the first anywhere near acceptable thing I've managed to do. Considered sending it off to get it printed and then I remembered a) I'm broke and b) 3D printing is expensive. Maybe next time.
